Our room had a beautiful view of the Cascades atrium which is full of indoor water falls, trees and flowers. We stayed in the Cascades, which is home to the Relache Spa and the Cascades Restaurant. Visit SoundWaves at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, a one-of-a-kind indoor waterpark with four acres of thrilling rides, wave pools, music and so much. The wave pool was my favorite area! The outdoor area also has water slides, cabanas and a big water area for kids! The weather was perfect during our stay so we were able to enjoy the outdoor part of the waterpark both days. With Vanderbilt University Medical Center as its official wellness advisor, Gaylord Opryland has developed strict health and sanitation plans. There are cabanas located inside and outside at the resort. The Nashville hospitality industry is ready to bounce back from COVID-19 closures and Gaylord Opryland Resort officially re-opened its doors for summer fun on June 25, 2020.

The cabana offers a mini fridge, complimentary bottled water, seating for up to six people, a TV and a digital-code safe for your belongings. Ours was located inside by one of the toddler areas, which was great since we had my two year old niece with us. o OPEN NOW: SoundWaves is a new upscale indoor/outdoor water attraction at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. One thing I highly recommend is reserving a cabana for the day. I was able to relax by the infinity pool (even if it was just for a few minutes) and I enjoyed every second!

It is located upstairs in a private area for adults only. We ate at Decibels and we all loved it! It is conveniently located, which makes it perfect to take a quick break with the kiddos and grab a bite to eat in between swimming and relaxing in the lazy river! There are two restaurants inside SoundWaves. Chase recently completed a 90 million water park at Gaylord Opryland Resort for Ryman Hospitality Properties. All of which are equally amazing and perfect for your little ones! They offer towels and even have lifejackets for your kiddos! They offer multiple toddler and kiddie areas inside and outside. In our group, we had ages ranging from my two year old niece, to my 10 year old son, to myself, my sister and our mom (a grandmother of six and great grandmother of two). There is so much to do and it is truly entertaining for people of all ages. It is exclusively for hotel guests which is ideal as it limits the amount of people at the waterpark.
